What to do if you forget your password
If you forget your password, there are a few ways you can reset it. One way is to use the “Forgot Your Password?” feature on the sign-in page. This will send a reset password email to the address associated with your account.
If you don’t have access to the email associated with your account, you can still reset your password by answering security questions or by providing recovery phone number.
How to change your password if you’re already logged in
If you’re already logged in, the easiest way to change your password is to go to your Google Account page. From there, you can change your password, recovery phone number, and recovery email address.
If you don’t know your current password, you can reset it from the Chrome settings page. To do this, go to chrome://settings/passwords and click the “Reset sync” button.
How to change your password if you’re locked out
If you’re locked out of your account and can’t remember your password, there are a few things you can try to get back in.
First, try using the “Forgot Your Password?” feature on the sign in page. This will send a reset password link to the email associated with your account. If you don’t have access to that email anymore, or if you can’t remember which email you used, you’ll need to reach out to Google support for help.
To do that, go to the Google account recovery page and follow the instructions. You’ll likely be asked to answer some security questions or enter information about when you created your account. Once you’ve done that, Google will provide instructions for resetting your password.
How to reset your password if you’re locked out
If you’re locked out of your Chromebook because you forgot your password, you can reset it using one of three methods:
