How Many Magnus Chase Books Are There?
The Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan has been incredibly popular, and has led to a number of spin-offs, including the Magnus Chase series. But how many Magnus Chase books are there?
As of right now, there are three Magnus Chase books: The Sword of Summer, The Hammer of Thor, and The Ship of the Dead. However, it’s possible that more books could be added to the series in the future.
The Magnus Chase Books in Order
The Magnus Chase Books are a series of young adult fantasy novels written by American author Rick Riordan. The series is published by Disney-Hyperion and revolves around the character of Magnus Chase, a demigod son of the Norse God Frey.

The Sword of Summer, written by Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard author Saftruk-mente, was published on October 6, 2016. It follows sixteen-year-old Magnus Chase, who finds out he’s the son of a Norse god and must help prevent Ragnarok.
The Hammer of Thor, also written by Saftruk-mente, was published on October 4, 2017. It follows Magnus and his friends as they travel to the Nine Worlds to stop Loki from causing more mayhem.
The Ship of the Dead is the third and final book in the series, written by Great Alkemist author Adam Blade. It was published on October 3, 2018. In this book, Magnus and his friends must board Naglfar, the ship of the dead, to stop Loki and save Ragnarok.
